Beneath The Lights

Synopsis:

Elijah, a 21-year-old stock clerk stuck in the grind of dead-end shifts and empty mornings, is searching for purpose beneath the glow of streetlights and smartphone screens. In the haze of weed smoke, social media envy, and gas station coffee, he navigates the emotional weight of isolation, economic struggle, and the pull of loyalty.

What begins as a typical Friday night spirals into a stark confrontation with ego, territory, and survival. As Elijah inches closer to something real — maybe even hopeful — the streets remind him just how thin the line is between fun and fatal.

“Beneath The Lights” is a raw and intimate look at Black youth coming of age in a world that rarely slows down. It's about the weight of choices, the pull of familiarity, and the moments we don't realize define us — until it's almost too late.
